Moreover, you will have some complementary activities that will help towards better professional integration:Â
The program connects students directly with the professional world through interactive sessions with industry experts* from the music, film, TV, and video game sectors. These professionals share their firsthand experiences, offering valuable insights into the realities of careers in cultural and creative industries. Students gain a clearer perspective on day-to-day responsibilities, emerging career paths, salary expectations, and the skills most valued in the field. Beyond the structured sessions, students will also participate in informal meet and greet networking opportunities. These relaxed interactions provide the chance to ask questions, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations with practitioners, helping students build professional connections and better understand the dynamics of these fast-evolving industries. * Each year, profiles and companies are subject to change according to the students’ interests and the professionals’ availability.
Additionally, the program features two masterclasses each year on significant management topics. These sessions are led by prominent figures in the industry, providing invaluable insights and perspectives. Following each masterclass, there will be a networking session, allowing students to connect with these industry leaders and discuss the insights shared, further enhancing their learning and professional network.
To deepen your understanding through hands-on experience, you and your peers will take part in field trips to innovative companies and cultural institutions within the music, screen, and video game industries. These visits will give you a comprehensive view of how creativity, technology, and management strategies intersect in practice—ranging from production studios and record labels to streaming platforms, gaming companies, and live event organizers. By experiencing these environments firsthand, you will gain unique insights into industry dynamics and strengthen your ability to connect theory with real-world practice.
Maximize your experience in Barcelona by taking advantage of our 40-hour Spanish language course for beginners, which is included in your master’s program fees. Being fluent in Spanish is a considerable advantage, especially if you’re considering an internship in Spain, where companies often expect proficiency in the language. Therefore, we recommend seizing this chance to enhance your language skills.
As part of all TBS Education MSc programs, students complete a professional internship that provides essential real-world experience and strengthens their employability. Whether carried out in France or abroad, these internships offer the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in class, develop industry-specific skills, and build an international professional network.
Thanks to TBS Education’s strong corporate partnerships and global reputation, students can access a wide range of placements across sectors, from large multinationals to innovative startups.
