The aim of this research thesis is to work on the supervision of information systems in the Digital Age. The aim is to explore the role and contribution of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in the supervision of IS (Information Systems) evolution, and to actively contribute to the development of innovative IS management methods through the simultaneous development of Deep/Machine Learning tools and AI.
The first step is to establish the state of the art. Firstly, the problem of IS supervision in the digital age will be addressed, followed by a bibliography of the various existing supervision approaches and tools, and the models to be used. Then, the PhD student could conduct an in-depth study of the methodology to be applied in the digital context in order to optimize the use of data with a view to perfecting IS supervision.
Then, the main aim of the thesis will be to exploit this methodology within the framework of design science research, in order to export its models to different research topics, such as mechanisms around learning/predictive models that can establish a diagnosis and formulate recommendations for optimizing IS operation based on supervision.
This doctoral research project is being carried out in partnership with HepTa Advisory Labs. This project is the subject of the CIFRE agreement n°2022/0890 supported by the ANRT for a 3-year period starting in December 2022.
PhD student Aïssa TOUMI is co-supervised by Mouaad HAFSI, Director of Innovation at HepTa Advisory Labs, and Samuel FOSSO WAMBA, teacher-researcher in the Information, Operations and Decision Sciences laboratory at TBS Education.
TBS Education has received the 2026 AIMS Award for Pedagogical Innovation for The Foresight Lab Experience, an immersive serious game combining strategic foresight and generative AI.
TBS Education’s Centre of Excellence in Aeronautics and Space marked its presence at the prestigious 9th International Conference on the Future of Aviation and Aerospace (FOAA 2026), held at the Taj West End. The event brought together global leaders to discuss the evolving challenges and opportunities in the aviation and aerospace sectors.
The Center of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence & Business Analytics is hosting International AI Day on Thursday, April 9. This year’s theme is “Generative AI in Organizations: Challenges and Opportunities” and the event will feature presentations and discussions with academic and industry experts on the topic.
